Hosea 5:7-9

New International Version

⁷ They are unfaithful^(A) to the Lord;
    they give birth to illegitimate^(B) children.
When they celebrate their New Moon feasts,^(C)
    he will devour^[a](D) their fields.

⁸ “Sound the trumpet^(E) in Gibeah,^(F)
    the horn in Ramah.^(G)
Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven^[b];^(H)
    lead on, Benjamin.
⁹ Ephraim will be laid waste^(I)
    on the day of reckoning.^(J)
Among the tribes of Israel
    I proclaim what is certain.^(K)
